Executive Vice President of Integrated Payments
Jared Poulson is Payroc’s payments technology visionary. He empowers software companies to monetize payments while ensuring delivery of leading products and services to Payroc clients. A 20-year payments industry veteran, Poulson joined Payroc through the acquisition of payments gateway company iTransact. Joining iTransact during its startup phase, Poulson was responsible for raising venture funding, sales growth, finance, and navigating the company through three successful mergers.
Poulson is a frequent guest speaker at industry events, most recently Digital Currency Con, investment banker Keefe, Bruyette & Woods’ Industry Day, and Western States Acquirers Association’s annual conference. Poulson received the 2019 Electronic Transactions Association’s Star Award for committee volunteer of the year. A past co-chair of ETA’s technology committee, Poulson continues to serve the group tasked to identify new emerging payments technologies and trends. As part of the committee’s efforts to develop resources to help ETA members successfully navigate the rapid pace of technological change, Poulson has co-authored many articles on the intersection of payments technology, distribution, and integration.
Prior to iTransact, Poulson was a series 7/63 licensed stock trader for Fidelity Investments. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance from Brigham Young University.
